How do I pay?

Payment can be made via credit card on the website, or contact us if you would prefer to do a direct bank transfer. Please note that orders placed must be fully paid in advance in cleared funds, before being accepted and processed.
Prices quoted are GST inclusive, and the price list included on this website may be amended at any time.

When do I have to order by?

Orders must be received at least 48 hours in advance, and will not be considered accepted until confirmed by email.
Please note that we can only accept a specific amount of orders, so you should place your order with as much notice as possible. We reserve our right to refuse to accept an order.

Can I cancel or change my order once placed/paid for?

You can cancel or change orders up to 24 hours in advance of the delivery time, and you will be given a credit (for cancellations) to be used against any future orders. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed delivery time, are not eligible for any refund. We trust you can understand why.

A cancellation request email must be sent to us at purplequeenbakery@gmail.com quoting your order reference number

How do I get my baked goods?

We are based in Sydney’s South-East, so orders can be delivered within Sydney’s Eastern and South Eastern suburbs for a flat fee of $15, provided there is someone present to take delivery of the goods. Baked goods are perishable items and cannot be left outside or unattended, and redelivery (if possible) will incur an additional full fee. Whilst we make every endeavour to ensure your baked goods are delivered as arranged, unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility nor provide a refund for a failed delivery that is not directly attributable to a fault of our team.

Orders can also be collected from Maroubra Junction – please email us at purplequeenbakery@gmail.com if this is your preference.

We practice contactless delivery/collection.

Allergies

Please note that all our goods are made in the same kitchen, so they potentially may all contain traces of eggs, gluten, dairy and nuts or other allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any of our baked goods are 100% free of allergens for those who have severe allergies. So if you have a serious or life-threatening allergy to a particular ingredient, please do not place an order with us.

Do you have options which are gluten free or Vegan (including dairy-free)?

We have an extensive range of gluten free options, and a pretty impressive range of Vegan options as well. All our Vegan offerings are dairy-free, however we do not offer a separate dairy-free non-Vegan range. Having said that, if you have something in mind, and want it dairy free but not necessarily Vegan, just email us at purplequeenbakery@gmail.com and we’ll make it happen.

Food Safety/COVID-19

All food preparation and baking is handled by a certified Food Safety Supervisor, with strict attention to enhanced health and hygiene measures.

Are they baked fresh?

Yes, all our baked goods are baked fresh to order and as close to delivery time as possible, to ensure you get maximum life out of them! The cheesecakes and slices are generally best kept in the fridge, but the cupcakes are best kept in an airtight container in a cool place out of the fridge (otherwise they will go hard). Most items will have a life of 2-4 days depending on the product, but are naturally at their best on the day of delivery.

We do not guarantee that the goods will look exactly the same as they do on their pictures on this website, as colours and decorations may vary.

Can I send a box of baked goods as a gift?

Absolutely. Just pick what you want and how many, and let us know the occasion and we will provide a gift card free. If you want it delivered as well, let us know the suburb and we’ll let you know the delivery cost.
